Our intervention was requested for expansion and renovation of the pre-existing Pub. The initial Pub had been obtained by adapting a train car to accommodate the counter and tables, so it already had a precise identity, so we wanted to interpret the peculiar attributes typical of traveling by train: a sense of speed, materials, landscape visions, with a style that draws on the Historical Avant-gardes (Futurism, Cubism, Surrealism) and put into practice with the playful intention of the Ready-Made (Duchamp, Mutoid).

The new spacious hall allowed us to think of the new counter as another symbol of the activity beyond the wagon, developing in length for about 20 meters, we have transformed it into another "antithetical" train, visually abstract compared to the classic one.

"The sky in a room": inside the original wagon we have created a more intimate and meditative "surrealist" room, whose walls covered with old bricks are dominated by a sky inspired by Magritte and Gino Paoli, while the other l 'we left in the original style.
